MOMENTUM Motion is a soon to be released product that will allow for motion acquisition of an ultrasound study. The primary function of MOMENTUM, for the private practice, is to acquire the ultrasound images and link them to the EMR as part of Meaningful Use part 2 ‘Image Results’ menu measure.
The primary version of MOMENTUM supports still images only since EMR’s do not currently handle cine or motion studies. Since MOMENTUM provides you with HL7 messaging at no charge, MOMENTUM Motion will be able to send a link to your EMR that will allow your EMR of access the patient study and utilize a built in cine/motion player to review the motion images.
